Local 1846 said goodbye to a 40-year member, Kippy Doucet, who retired recently, leaving a legacy of leadership with his co-workers. Kippy has played a great role in representing the union as a whole, and in the lives of many members. He has exhibited what it takes to have a long-lasting career in the union, leaving a memorable mark in Local Union 1846 history.
Kippy was honored by his carpenter team, whom he led for many years at the Waterford 3 Nuclear Power Plant. They were joined by Council Reps John Edwards and Emanuel Mitchell, as well as Training Director Ray Calamari, Jr., and Kippy’s wife.
Congratulations on the well-earned retirement, Kippy!
